US Vice President JD Vance arrived in Budapest on an official visit, marking a historic moment in Hungary–United States relations.

Upon arrival, Vance and his spouse were welcomed by Hungary’s Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.

In a statement on Facebook, Szijjártó described the visit as the start of a “golden era” in ties between Budapest and Washington.
