The Israeli military said it struck a seventh crossing point over the Litani River on April 6, which it described as being used by Hezbollah to move personnel and weapons south of the river.
According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the crossing had been used to transfer rockets, weapons, and launchers, which the military says were intended for attacks against Israeli forces, Caliber.Az reports per the IDF.
The strike follows six previous operations targeting crossings over the Litani River since the start of Israel’s ongoing campaign, dubbed Operation Roaring Lion.
The IDF stated that it will continue “to operate decisively against the Hezbollah terrorist organisation” in response to deliberate attacks on Israel on behalf of Iran, and emphasised that it seeks to prevent harm to Israeli civilians.
