Air raid sirens were activated across central Israel, including in Tel Aviv and nearby areas, following warnings of a missile threat, according to TASS.
Shortly after the alerts were issued, a series of explosions was reported in the area.
Earlier, the Israeli military said it had detected a new missile barrage launched from Iranian territory, prompting the activation of warning systems. No immediate information was available regarding casualties or damage.
