Seven people were killed in southern Lebanon as a result of Israeli airstrikes, including a municipal council member, his brother, and their mother, local authorities confirmed.
In the town of Zebdin in Nabatiyeh province, an airstrike struck a four-story residential building, claiming the lives of the council member and two of his family members, AP reports.
Meanwhile, in the town of Ramadiyeh in the Tyre district, another Israeli strike killed four people and injured three others, Lebanon’s Health Ministry confirmed.
