Cyprus President Nicos Christodoulides held an important meeting with UN Secretary-General António Guterres in Brussels, focusing on the Cyprus issue.


Christodoulides thanked Guterres for his “strong and consistent commitment on reunifying Cyprus” and discussed the next steps toward a settlement, Caliber.Az cites the Cypriot president’s post on social media platform X.






The leaders also exchanged views on current developments in the Middle East.


The Cypriot president highlighted his expectation of the upcoming discussions at the European Council, where international developments, the situation in the Middle East, and ways to strengthen multilateral cooperation will be addressed.
