Since the start of hostilities in the region, Bahrain’s air defence systems have intercepted and destroyed a total of 129 missiles and 233 drones targeting the kingdom, the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Forces announced.
The General Command emphasised that the use of ballistic missiles and drones to strike civilian areas and private property violates international humanitarian law and the UN Charter. It added that such indiscriminate attacks pose a serious threat to regional stability and security.
