An explosion damaged a Jewish school in Amsterdam overnight on March 14, though no injuries were reported.

According to Ynet, a group identifying itself as the “Islamic Movement of Right-Wing Youth” published a video online showing the explosion near the school building.

Despite the damage, authorities said no one was harmed in the incident.

Femke Halsema said she considers the explosion a deliberate attack targeting the Jewish community in the Dutch capital.

“This is a cowardly act of aggression against the Jewish community. I understand the fear of Jews in Amsterdam. They are increasingly facing antisemitism, and this is unacceptable. A school should be a place where children can be educated safely,” she said.

Halsema added that Amsterdam must remain a safe place for Jewish residents.
