Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, a senior member of the Political Bureau of the Houthi movement Ansar Allah, said the group’s actions are fully aligned with the efforts of the so-called “axis of resistance.”
In an interview with Al Mayadeen, al-Bukhaiti said the decision in Yemen to side with Iran has already been made.
He said the group is closely monitoring developments and “keeping a finger on the trigger,” referring to earlier remarks by the movement’s leader, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi.
According to al-Bukhaiti, Yemen’s direct participation in the conflict is “only a matter of time,” adding that full coordination exists on the issue.
