Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares has warned that a potential Israeli ground invasion of Lebanon would be a “terrible mistake.”
According to France 24, Albares also said that the Spanish government had called on the Lebanese group Hezbollah to halt its rocket attacks against Israel.
At the same time, the Spanish foreign minister announced that Madrid would send humanitarian assistance worth €9 million to Beirut.
