A drone crashed into a residential building in al-Zulfi province, causing limited material damage but no casualties, the Saudi Civil Defence confirmed.

The drone struck a residential site in the province,  Civil Defence officials said, SANA reports.

Earlier, Saudi Arabia’s Defence Ministry said its air defence forces had intercepted and destroyed two drones east of al-Kharj province and shot down a ballistic missile launched toward the kingdom’s Eastern Province.

The ministry noted that the interceptions were part of a broader wave of aerial strikes targeting multiple regions across Saudi Arabia, highlighting ongoing security challenges in the kingdom.
