A rocket attack on central Israel left one person dead and several others injured on March 9. 


Magen David Adom, Israel’s national emergency medical service, said that a man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene of a construction site. Another man, also in his 40s, was taken to Sheba Tel Hashomer Hospital in serious and unstable condition, Caliber.Az reports.






The emergency service also reported that additional injuries occurred as people sought shelter, including a 78-year-old man who sustained a head injury. Rescue teams continue to provide assistance at the affected sites.

Several rockets struck central Israel on the morning of March 9, with multiple impact points reported in Tel Aviv and surrounding areas. 


According to Yediot News, two people were injured in the attack, one of whom later died, while the other remains in critical condition.


The rockets were reportedly fired from Iran. Israeli journalist Almog Boker said that at least one of the missiles carried a cluster warhead and landed in the central part of the country.


Rescue and emergency services were dispatched to the affected areas, and operations to inspect the sites and provide assistance continue.
