Belgium’s Ministry of Defence announced on X that two Airbus A400M military transport planes were deployed to evacuate citizens from the region.
The planes transported 74 Belgian nationals and 60 citizens from other European countries from Dubai to Hurghada.
“A charter flight is bringing them back home,” the ministry noted.
