Overnight on March 9, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it carried out a targeted operation in southern Lebanon, aimed at locating and dismantling infrastructure linked to Hezbollah.

According to an IDF statement, prior to the entry of ground forces, air and ground firepower was used against multiple identified targets, Caliber.Az reports.

The military described the operation as part of efforts to strengthen defensive positions and enhance security for residents in northern Israel.

"The IDF will continue to act decisively against the Hezbollah terrorist organization, which chose to join the war and operate on behalf of the Iranian regime. The State of Israel will not tolerate any harm to the Israeli residents," the statement reads.
