The Ain al-Hilweh refugee camp, located on the outskirts of Saida in southern Lebanon, was hit by an attack from the Israeli Navy, local news agency Al-Markazia reported.

According to the agency, there are casualties among the camp’s residents.

An Israeli warship launched missiles targeting the Hay al-Tawari and Taamir districts, which serve as strongholds for the radical Hamas movement.

Israeli forces last struck the Palestinian camp on February 20, killing two field commanders of Hamas.
