A representative of Iran’s central headquarters of the armed forces, Khatam al‑Anbiya Central Headquarters, stated that many US soldiers were killed as a result of a strike on an American base in Bahrain.
His remarks were reported by the Mehr News Agency.
“The attack on the location of US military personnel in Bahrain resulted in a large number of dead and wounded,” the statement said.
