Qatar did not take part in the US and Israeli operation against Iran, and its military is merely repelling Iranian attacks under its right to self-defense, Majed Al Ansari, spokesperson for the Qatari Foreign Ministry announced on X.
“Qatar has not been part of the campaign targeting Iran. We are exercising our right in self defense and deterring Iranian attacks against our country,” the diplomat wrote.
Al Ansari also urged media outlets, when covering events related to Qatar, to “to use credible Qataris sources.”
