A total of 370 people have been evacuated from Iran via the Azerbaijani border since the start of the US and Israeli military strikes on Iran on February 28.


In this vein, citizens of 20 foreign countries, as well as 131 Azerbaijani citizens crossed the border between February 28 and 14:00 on March 2, Caliber.Az reports per local media




In addition, 81 Chinese citizens, 47 Russians, 32 Pakistanis, 18 Saudis, 30 Tajiks, 6 Emiratis, 4 from Jordan, 3 from Qatar, 3 from Bangladesh, 2 from the Philippines, 2 from Nepal, 2 from Kazakhstan, 2 from France, as well as 1 citizen each from Türkiye, Italy, Poland, Tunisia, Lebanon, India, and Brazil were evacuated.


Authorities coordinated the evacuations to ensure the safety of foreign nationals amid ongoing regional tensions.
