Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian has temporarily appointed Brigadier General Majid Ebnelreza, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), as acting Minister of Defence, according to the Iranian media.
The official statement noted that the appointment is part of ongoing personnel decisions within the defence sector.
No additional details have been provided regarding the duration of his duties or further staffing changes.
