Iran has appointed Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi as the new commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), as per the IRGC Telegram channel.
Prior to this, Vahidi served as the nation's Minister of Defence and Minister of Interior. He also held the position of Deputy Commander-in-Chief at the IRGC.
