A fire broke out at an oil refinery in Russia’s Kanevsky district of the Krasnodar region following a drone incident, local authorities said.
According to a statement published on the Telegram channel of the Krasnodar Region Operational Headquarters, the blaze was caused by “falling debris from an unmanned aerial vehicle” (UAV).
Preliminary information indicates that no casualties have been reported.
Emergency and specialised services were dispatched to the site, where response teams continue working. Officials said the total area affected by the fire is still being determined.
