Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has recalled Javidan Huseynov from his post as the country’s Consul General in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
On February 27, a presidential decree appointed Kamran Mammadzade as Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Dubai, according to the official government website.
Following his recall, Huseynov has been named Azerbaijan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Bahrain.
In a separate decree, the Azerbaijani President appointed Elmar Mammadov as Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Bulgaria.
