President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter to the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, ahead of the Gulf country’s national holiday.
According to Caliber.Az the letter has been published on the official website of the Azerbaijani head of state.
In his message, President Aliyev extended his congratulations to the Emir and the people of Kuwait on the occasion of their national celebration. He expressed satisfaction with the current state of Azerbaijani-Kuwaiti relations, which he described as being built on mutual respect and trust.
President Aliyev emphasised that understanding and active high-level dialogue have created favourable conditions for broadening cooperation across various fields.
He expressed confidence that the traditional friendly ties between Azerbaijan and Kuwait, as well as their productive collaboration both bilaterally and within international organisations, will continue to deepen and expand in the interests of both peoples.
