Azerbaijan’s Ambassador Ramil Rzayev has presented his credentials to Singapore President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Indonesia wrote on X.
Following the official ceremony, a bilateral meeting was held during which the parties discussed prospects for strengthening cooperation between Azerbaijan and Singapore across various sectors, the statement said.
Azerbaijan and Singapore established diplomatic relations on 15 August 1994. The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Jakarta, Indonesia, is also accredited to Singapore, reflecting the country’s diplomatic engagement in Southeast Asia.
