More than 240 heavy goods vehicles are waiting to enter Lithuania from Belarus, according to the State Border Committee (SBC).

At the Medininkai checkpoint on the Lithuanian side — known as Kamenny Log in Belarus — authorities processed only 14% of the normal daily volume of freight trucks, the committee said. Around 110 trucks are currently queued at that crossing, Caliber.Az reports via Belarusian media

A further 130 trucks are reportedly waiting at the Šalčininkai checkpoint, referred to as Beniakoni in Belarus. According to the SBC, the Lithuanian side processed 28% of the usual number of vehicles at this crossing.
