The eldest son of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, Akhmat Kadyrov Jr., has been appointed to oversee the republic’s education sector, he announced on Telegram.
Akhmat Kadyrov, who currently serves as a deputy prime minister of the Chechen government, said his responsibilities have been expanded to include supervision of education policy and administration. In his statement, he described education as a long-standing cornerstone of the development of society and the state, Caliber.Az reports.
