Acting U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Amy Carlon said U.S. companies are poised to unlock the full potential of the August 8 agreements, as she welcomed a delegation of 31 leading American firms to Baku this week.
The visit, marking the first-ever U.S. Chamber of Commerce-led business delegation to Azerbaijan, is designed to explore investment and economic cooperation opportunities while strengthening ties between the two countries.
It comes as part of wider efforts to expand economic relations following a memorandum of understanding signed by U.S. President Donald Trump and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in August 2025.
During their stay, the delegation is scheduled to meet government officials and local business leaders to discuss potential projects, partnerships, and initiatives aimed at driving Azerbaijan’s economic development.
