U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance has begun high-level talks with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Yerevan.

Vance, who arrived in the Armenian capital on February 9 with his wife, Usha, was welcomed at the Prime Minister’s residence, where the two leaders are meeting in a private, one-on-one format, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.

The discussions are being held behind closed doors, with details yet to be released.

The visit forms part of a broader regional tour. Vance is scheduled to remain in Armenia until 10 February, before travelling to Azerbaijan for talks from February 10-11.
