The Russian Navy’s Northern Fleet frigate Admiral Kasatonov carried out scheduled artillery exercises in the Barents Sea, the Russian Ministry of Defence said.
According to the ministry, the crew fired at coastal targets from distances of up to 12 kilometres, engaged maritime drones, and practiced repelling simulated air attacks, Caliber.Az reports.
The exercises were designed to reflect lessons learned from modern naval combat operations, officials added.
