Türkiye continues large-scale operations against the terrorist organisation FETÖ, with 63 people detained over the past two weeks.

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya wrote on X that the arrests took place across 29 provinces, Caliber.Az reports.

Forty-one suspects were formally arrested, while four others were placed under judicial control. The minister noted that some of the detainees had attempted to flee abroad.

FETÖ, responsible for the July 15, 2016 coup attempt in Türkiye, is recognised as a terrorist organisation in Türkiye, Gulf countries, and Pakistan. Its leader, Fethullah Gülen, died in a US hospital on October 20, 2024.
