TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, February 5. Trade
turnover between Uzbekistan and Spain has nearly doubled over the
past six years, reaching $106.4 million by the end of 2025,
Trend reports via
Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The figure was highlighted during a meeting in Madrid between
Uzbekistan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Bobur Usmanov and Jose Luis
Bonet Ferrer, head of the Chamber of Commerce of the Kingdom of
Spain.
At the same time, the sides noted that the current volume of
bilateral trade still falls short of the economic potential of the
two countries.
Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their commitment
to strengthening long-term practical engagement through broader
business-to-business contacts, targeted B2B meetings, and joint
business forums.
