Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed Sergei Ivanov from the post of special representative of the President of the Russian Federation on environmental protection, ecology and transport, according to a presidential decree.


"To dismiss Sergei Borisovich Ivanov from the post of representative of the President of the Russian Federation on environmental protection, ecology and transport," the document read.


Ivanov was appointed to the role in 2016. He previously served as Head of the Presidential Administration.
