Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has arrived in Egypt on an official visit, the presidential press service said in a post on X.


Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi personally welcomed Turkish President Erdoğan at the Al-Ittihadiya Presidential Palace, Caliber.Az cites the post.






Following an artillery salute and the playing of both countries’ national anthems, the leaders exchanged handshakes and posed for a press photo.


One-on-one talks then took place, followed by a ceremony for signing agreements and issuing press statements.
