French President Emmanuel Macron faces widespread disapproval, with 77% of the population expressing negative sentiments toward his leadership, says a recent Odoxa-Mascaret poll for the parliamentary TV channel Public Sénat.

Only 23% of respondents described Macron as a “good president.”

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu enjoys slightly higher approval ratings. The survey indicates that 33% of respondents consider him a “good prime minister,” while 65% expressed dissatisfaction with his performance, and 2% were undecided.

The online survey was carried out on January 21–22 and included a representative sample of 1,005 French citizens aged 18 and older.
