Officials in the U.S. administration have indicated that a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy could take place in the near future, Axios reports.
“We are very close to a meeting between Putin and Zelensky,” a source told the outlet.
A White House official added that if both sides continue “on the current course,” the meeting is expected to happen.
