Swedish rapid reaction forces scrambled to monitor and intercept Russian aircraft over the Baltic Sea on January 23.
“Swedish QRA intercepted two Su-35S escorting a Tu-22M over the Baltic Sea yesterday. 24/7 Air Policing protecting NATO,” the Swedish Air Force wrote on social media, posting an image of the operation.
