Czech police have arrested a man suspected of collaborating with Chinese intelligence services, officials said on January 22 .
The arrest, which took place on January 17, was carried out by detectives from the National Counterterrorism, Extremism and Cybercrime Agency (NCTEKK), the police said, Caliber.Az reports.
A criminal case has been opened against the suspect on suspicion of conducting unauthorised activities in the interests of a foreign state.
According to Czech police, local special services also participated in the investigation. The detainee is a Chinese citizen, authorities added, noting that the investigation is ongoing.
