Representatives of the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) have conducted an Explosive Ordnance Risk Education programme for residents returning to the city of Khankendi, the agency said in a statement.

According to ANAMA, participants were informed about basic safety rules, how to identify potentially dangerous or suspicious areas, and the meaning of warning signs. Residents were urged to avoid entering areas where safety cannot be confirmed and to refrain from touching any unfamiliar or suspicious objects, Caliber.Az reports.

ANAMA officials also distributed various educational and precautionary printed materials to help raise awareness of explosive hazards among the returning population.
