Switzerland has voiced deep concern over arrests and deaths linked to ongoing protests in Iran, urging Iranian authorities to cease the use of force against demonstrators.
In a statement shared on X, the Swiss government said it is closely monitoring developments in Iran amid reports of mass detentions and fatalities during anti-government demonstrations, Caliber.Az reports.
The statement called on Iranian authorities to respect human rights and fundamental freedoms for all participants in the protests, emphasizing the need to safeguard the safety of civilians and ensure that peaceful demonstrators are protected.
