Estonia has imposed entry bans on 261 Russian combatants who participated in the war against Ukraine, the country’s Foreign Minister said, emphasising that this is only the first step.
“Hundreds of thousands of fighters from the aggressor state have been involved in this brutal war, committing atrocities and spreading violence. They have no place in Estonia and in the Schengen area,” Minister of Foreign Affairs Margus Tsahkna wrote on X, Caliber.Az reports.
Tsahkna added that Estonia will continue working to keep Russian ex-combatants from entering the country and called on other nations to adopt similar measures.
