Russian air strikes have left around half of Kyiv’s apartment buildings without heating, Finland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen said, commenting on Russia’s use of an Oreshnik hypersonic missile against Ukraine.
Valtonen stressed that in countries with harsh winters, such as Finland, the loss of heating can be a matter of life and death, Caliber.Az reports via her post on X.
"These strikes are a reminder of Russia’s complete disregard of human lives. Targeting civilians is and remains a war crime," she said.
The Finnish foreign minister reaffirmed Finland’s support for Ukraine and called for an immediate ceasefire.
