BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, January 9. Kyrgyzstan has
ranked 116th in the Government AI Readiness Index 2025, Trend reports via the
publication by Oxford Insights.


The index looks into how ready governments are to roll out
artificial intelligence throughout public administration, the
economy, and social sectors.


Kyrgyzstan recorded an overall score of 34.22. The country’s
Policy Capacity stood at 16.00, while AI Infrastructure scored
44.29.


Governance reached 30.98, and Public Sector Adoption was rated
46.90. Development and Diffusion of AI technologies were assessed
at 23.67, reflecting early-stage integration across the
economy.







Resilience, at 34.22, highlighted the country’s ability to adapt
to AI-related challenges, including societal adaptability and
cybersecurity preparedness.


The Government AI Readiness Index covers 195 countries and
remains the only global ranking focused exclusively on governments’
capacity to develop, regulate, and apply AI in a safe, responsible,
and sustainable manner.
