The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have said that a projectile was launched from the Gaza City area toward Israel and landed within the Gaza Strip, near a hospital.
The IDF said it subsequently carried out a strike on the alleged launch site, Caliber.Az reports.
In a statement, the IDF condemned what it described as attempts by militant groups to target Israeli territory and personnel.
