A delegation led by Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, Majid Takht-Ravanchi, was due to arrive in Armenia on January 7 for a series of political consultations.


During the visit, Takht-Ravanchi is expected to meet his Armenian counterpart as well as other senior Armenian officials. The talks will focus on expanding bilateral cooperation in key areas, including the economy, transport, and culture, Caliber.Az reports via Iranian media.


The agenda will also include discussions on regional developments in the South Caucasus and cooperation aimed at maintaining peace and security in the region.
