BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 7. Kapital Bank, the
country’s first bank, continues to support the “YAŞA” Centers of
the “Üçüncü Bahar” Public Union as part of its commitment to
improving the quality of life of the elderly and encouraging a more
active retirement period. In this context, the 4th “YAŞA” Center
has started its operations in the capital city of Baku.

The new center aims to implement important social initiatives
for elderly people living in the Old City (Icherisheher) and
surrounding areas by strengthening social ties, creating an
environment for joint learning and experience sharing, and
promoting an active lifestyle. The center provides all the
necessary conditions for elderly people to come together, develop
their skills, share life experience, and feel like active members
of society. Those who wish to benefit from the center’s services
can register by contacting (+994 50)343-44-14.

Since 2017, more than 45 000 retirees have participated in
various training programs implemented within the framework of
cooperation with the “Üçüncü Bahar” Public Union. For the past nine
years, with the support of Kapital Bank, “YAŞA” Centers have been
successfully operating in Baku, Mingachevir, and Shamakhi. Through
training sessions conducted with the mentorship of bank employees,
more than 200 retirees have gained essential knowledge and skills
in the areas of financial literacy, legal awareness, and
information security. This initiative represents another step in
the bank’s sustainable social responsibility efforts focused on
enhancing the quality of life of the elderly, supporting their
social integration, and protecting their health.

At the “YAŞA” Centers, various clubs and activities are
organized for elderly participants on a daily basis. The programs
include patchwork sewing, knitting, English language classes,
painting, music, and other creative activities. In addition,
through information sessions, master classes, and thematic events,
elderly participants gain new knowledge and skills and have
opportunities for active social engagement. These activities
contribute to maintaining both the physical and psychological
well-being of elderly people and to making their daily lives more
meaningful and fulfilling.
