Iranian security forces have apprehended an individual reportedly affiliated with Mossad who was operating under the cover of participating in riots and moving secretly among protesters in Tehran.
In his statements, the detainee detailed the recruitment, training, and communication methods used by Mossad, Caliber.Az reports, citing Tasnim news agency.
He explained that targets were selected via social media platforms like Instagram and Telegram, based on their posts and interactions, and were promised support for carrying out assigned tasks. From the beginning, he was given clear instructions on what to do and what to avoid.
Regarding the missions assigned, the detainee said he was initially instructed to visit private homes but was soon redirected to operate in marketplaces.
He added that the nature of his assignments evolved over time and became entirely payment-driven, with all procedures and instructions delivered through a single mobile device.
