US Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau has stated that Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro will be held accountable for his actions.
According to Caliber.Az, Landau made the remark in a post on X, writing:
“A new dawn for Venezuela! The tyrant is gone. He will now—finally—face justice for his crimes.”
The statement follows earlier comments by US President Donald Trump, who said that Maduro and his wife had been captured during a special operation conducted by US armed forces and removed from Venezuela.
