Amy Carlon, Acting U.S. Chargé d’Affaires in Baku, has released a New Year video message to mark World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and the New Year, speaking in both Azerbaijani and English.
The message, published on the official social media page of the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan, emphasised the importance of unity, peace, and prosperity for Azerbaijan and the wider South Caucasus region.
“Today, we celebrate both the International Solidarity Day of Azerbaijanis, and the coming of the New Year. The U.S. Embassy in Baku is pleased to share the following message from Chargé d’affaires Amy Carlon commemorating these two important occasions as well as celebrating her first six months in Azerbaijan,. To all of our Azerbaijani followers, we congratulate you on the International Solidarity Day of Azerbaijanis, and wish you and your families a safe and prosperous 2026!” Carlon said.
She also highlighted the positive trajectory of U.S.–Azerbaijan relations, noting the significance of the August 8 meeting between the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and the United States at the White House.
