Chinese automaker Dongfeng Motor Corp. has surpassed its annual target by producing over 1 million new energy vehicles (NEVs) in 2025.

The milestone was reached at the factory manufacturing luxury hybrid SUVs under the M-Hero line, when the 10,000th M817 model rolled off the production line, the company reported.

Dongfeng is one of China’s three leading state-owned car manufacturers, with a portfolio that includes electric and hybrid models such as Voyah, M-Hero, eπ, and Nanobox, catering to various market segments.

The company noted significant growth in sales this year, with M-Hero sales nearly quadrupling and Voyah sales approximately doubling.
