Authorities in Istanbul have carried out a series of raids targeting individuals spreading ISIS propaganda online, following an attack in Yalova that killed three police officers.


The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office conducted simultaneous searches at 29 locations overnight. The operations resulted in the detention of 28 people accused of promoting ISIS, and one suspect identified as an active member of the terrorist organization, Caliber.Az reports, citing NTV.


During the raids, authorities seized a large amount of digital materials and organizational documents related to the group’s activities.
