Russian armed forces have deployed new guided munitions, known as “Geran,” to target critical gas infrastructure in Ukraine’s Chernihiv region. The attacks reportedly damaged several key facilities that are vital to the area’s energy security.
According to the channel Voennoe Delo, the strikes affected:
The gas storage station in the village of Hnedintsi
The Hnedintsi gas processing plant
The fuel storage facility in the city of Pryluky
The gas storage station in the village of Ivkivtsi
